Free People inspirated ruffle slip: making a hem
All the last week I was working on hems. Now it's finished and I'm going to show you whole process.
Celý minuý týden jsem pracovala na lemech. Konečně hotovo, takže vám můžu celý process ukázat.
The original dress has little cutout in the middle. I just signed the line by hand and copied it to other pieces.
Původní šaty mají ve středu vystřižený kus látky, který jsem rukou nakreslila na jeden díl a pak jsem ho okopírovala na ostatní.
Drawing lines for crease: width 1.5 cm/ 0.5 inch, corners are rounded.
Kreslení linií ohybu: šíře 1,5 cm, rohy jsou zaoblené.
Nastehování lemu.
The hem would be sewed the same way as lines on the top and then a redundant fabric should be cut off. You have to be carefull and avoid to cut threds or upper fabric.
Lem je šitý stejným způsobem jako jednotlivé linie na živůtku. Po ušití jsem přebytečnou látku ustřihla. Je třeba být opatrný a nenastřihnout nit nebo horní látku.
